Great to see the likes of Ward, Ings, Markovic and Flanagan featuring in the team and match day squad. They have a rare chance to impress. Would like to have seen Woodburn start but hope he gets some minutes and hopefully a goal!

My eyes are on Oxlade-Chamberlain to see he does starting in a red shirt. Would have like to see Woodburn start. I had forgotten we still had multi million pound Markovic! 🙂

He’s been OK – not shown ‘anything’ yet and still waiting to see ‘something’ that justifies our interest. I never really rated him at Arsenal. I know he can have his ‘moments’ but more often than not, justified why he has never been more than a ‘squad’ player. Klopp may well help him realise his potential, deliver the ‘good’ performances he can display on a regular basis. I also know he hasn’t had time to settle and a ‘match’ in great circumstances yet – although even with our dominance today, he has had a chance to force himself up the pecking order.
