Jurgen Klopp has made two changes as Liverpool attempt to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League against Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.

Liverpool Team: Karius, Gomez, Klavan, Lovren, Moreno, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Coutinho, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Subs: Mignolet, Milner, Sturridge, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Can, Solanke, Alexander-Arnold.

Loris Karius starts in goal, and Joe Gomez replaces Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back, while Klavan and Lovren continue in central defence.

Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino all start.

Joel Matip is out with a thigh injury and has not travelled to Spain.

Sevilla scored a late equaliser in the opening group game at Anfield as it finished 2-2.

Sevilla v Liverpool in Group E of the Champions League kicks off at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium at 19:45 on Tuesday 21 November.

  1. Coutinho, Mane, Salah and Firmino all starting – Klopp is looking to wrap this up tonight by the looks of it! Gomez coming in is a good move. Still don’t understand keeper rotation but it hasn’t done much harm so can’t knock it

  2. Basically the team that beat Southampton – with the expected GK change and Gomez coming back in. Bench looks the same too with both Migs and TTA replacing Karius and Gomez.
    Lallana not on the bench but I do understand that Klopp would rather keep him safe and ease him back in. You wouldn’t want to bring him on with 3omins to go and need him at full match pace to get a result and then have a relapse after 10-15mins.
