After a period out of the squad and fresh talks with manager Arne Slot, Mohamed Salah is named among the substitutes ahead of his departure for the Africa Cup of Nations. There are two changes to the side that started midweek in the Champions League.
Alisson keeps his place in goal. In defence, Milos Kerkez replaces Andy Robertson, with Joe Gomez coming in as Conor Bradley serves suspension. Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konaté complete the back four.
In midfield, Slot sticks with Ryan Gravenberch, Curtis Jones and Alexis Mac Allister for the second game running. Florian Wirtz returns to the starting lineup, linking up with Dominik Szoboszlai and Hugo Ekitiké in attack.
