Liverpool have made one change for tonight’s Premier League trip to Ipswich Town, with Ronald Araujo handed his first competitive start for the club.
The Uruguay international replaces Jeremie Frimpong at right-back in the only alteration from last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest at Anfield.
There is also plenty of interest on the bench. Bradley Barcola is included in a Liverpool matchday squad for the first time following his £123 million move from Paris Saint-Germain and could make his debut at Portman Road.
Andoni Iraola had confirmed before the game that Barcola was available, although the Liverpool head coach also pointed to his lack of match minutes during pre-season. The France international will therefore have to wait for a starting place.
Alisson continues in goal, with Araujo joining Jeremy Jacquet, Virgil van Dijk and Milos Kerkez in defence.
Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai remain together in midfield, with Florian Wirtz operating further forward.
Victor Munoz keeps his place after scoring the equaliser against Forest, with Cody Gakpo and Alexander Isak completing the attack. Ryan Gravenberch is again among the substitutes.
Liverpool travel to Suffolk still searching for their first Premier League win under Iraola after successive 2-2 draws against Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest.
On both occasions the Reds had to come from behind, so a stronger start will be high on the agenda against an Ipswich side who won their opening home league game against Sunderland before losing 5-2 at Manchester United.
