Mane drives towards the box and passes to Salah. He feeds the ball forward back to Mane who finds his shot saved but is on hand to thump the loose ball home to double LFC’s advantage…

Liverpool lead 1-0 at half time thanks to Salah’s goal and he could have added to that tally but denied by good saves. Liverpool have dominated possession and chances but Alisson has been called upon and seen shots go wide and/or high – its not been totally 1-sided.

Team to play Sheffield United: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Gomez, Robertson, Keita, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Salah, Firmino, Mane.
Subs: Adrian, Phillips, Milner, Lallana, Elliott, Jones, Origi.
