  • ‪Solanke denied late on as Reds suffer a frustrating night against West Brom‬

  • Liverpool: Karius; Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Klavan, Robertson; Can, Wijnaldum, Coutinho; Salah, Mane, Firmino.

Subs: Mignolet, Gomez, Milner, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ings, Solanke.

    • What is it with all this rotation? It didn’t work against Eveton at the weekend just hope we fair better against the Baggies! Doesn’t do our street cred any good trailing behind Burnley in the table!

  • Rooney penalty makes it a frustrating afternoon at Anfield

  • Liverpool 1 Everton 0!

  • Liverpool Team: Mignolet; Gomez, Lovren, Klavan, Robertson; Henderson, Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Salah, Mane, Solanke.

Substitutes: Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Can, Wijnaldum, Coutinho, Firmino, […]

  • Dream night by a dream team!

    • One of the most beautiful, amazing, awesome performances I’ve seen from a LFC team in 40 years of supporting them. Pressure was on after the Sevilla embarrassing 2nd performance, looks like we’ve learned from that experience. Our front 4 are unplayable honestly!!. Very proud indeed. In Jürgen Klopp I trust.

  • Return of the Fab Four! Come on you Reds!

  • This will be the 23rd time Liverpool have played Everton in the FA Cup, with their last meeting coming in a semi-final win in 2012.

It will be the second Merseyside derby of the season as the Reds play Everton […]

Brilliant Reds hammer five past Brighton to move into the top four!

    • What a deserving win, a few lapses defensively but be it with a very makeshift back four. Our front three were amazing. Very impressive.

  • ‪3 points on the road and a clean sheet. Well done Reds!‬

  • Liverpool Team: Mignolet, Gomez, Matip, Lovren, Moreno, Wijnaldum, Can, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mane, Solanke, Firmino.

Subs: Karius, Milner, Coutinho, Salah, Henderson, Sturridge, Alexander-Arnold.

    • A little strange in Klopps team but it does show the depth we have now. The fact we can leave Coutinho, Salah, Hendo, Milner etc on the bench is testament to our depth.
I think if we had Salah and Coutinho in instead of Solanke and the Ox, we would be looking a lot more potent up front.
A win tonight could take us into the top 4 if results go our way…
      Come on you REDS!!! YNWA

    • I know we have a packed schedule of games coming up with Christmas around the corner, and Klopp will want to rest players, but Stoke is such a tough venue that I don’t think we will offer much up front, which suggests he is going for a draw or hoping to nick one with Salah or Coutinho coming off the bench. Solanke has been patient waiting for his chance and I would be delighted if he proved me wrong and got a goal for us tonight!

  • Sevilla 0 Liverpool 1!

  • Liverpool Team: Karius, Gomez, Klavan, Lovren, Moreno, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Coutinho, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Subs: Mignolet, Milner, Sturridge, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Can, Solanke, Alexander-Arnold.

    Loris K […]

    • Coutinho, Mane, Salah and Firmino all starting – Klopp is looking to wrap this up tonight by the looks of it! Gomez coming in is a good move. Still don’t understand keeper rotation but it hasn’t done much harm so can’t knock it

    • Basically the team that beat Southampton – with the expected GK change and Gomez coming back in. Bench looks the same too with both Migs and TTA replacing Karius and Gomez.
Lallana not on the bench but I do understand that Klopp would rather keep him safe and ease him back in. You wouldn’t want to bring him on with 3omins to go and need him at full match pace to get a result and then have a relapse after 10-15mins.

  • Jurgen Klopp made four changes to his Liverpool team with Dejan Lovren replacing the injured Joel Matip in central defence. Joe Gomez was a surprise omission but perhaps one eye was on the Champions League match […]

    • Caught the game on MOTD and was so impressed with Salah. I dread to think where we would be this season without him and his 14 goals. We are on a good run now and with Lallana coming back we are looking strong on the pitch and the bench. It’s just a pity we gave City such a head start with some amateur defending and questionable performances earlier in the season. I would give Klopp and the team 7 out of 10 so far this season.

      • Yes James I would agree with your assessment 100% with the caveat of until the Sadio Mane sending off we were well in the game be it 1-0 but well in the game. Spurs game was just recklessly ridiculous in the extreme defensively… since then we have our swagger back. Most important player for LFC is Roberto Firminio by some distance just because he presses in the absence of Lallana and make everything tick. Klopp has learned that finally we can’t go all out attacking just sit back and wait our time that’s been noticeable since the Spurs embarrassment.

    • Gomez benched today, surprise or what?

      • More importantly, no Matip!!! Good to see Mane is fit and I did wonder if Lallana would have made the bench.

    • Great to be back after the international break! I just hope there is no hangover. because we were on a fine run of form in November. I am also surprised that Gomez isn’t in central defence today. I’m glad Manet was passed fit and think we have plenty of options in the team and on the bench to get the 3 points!

    • King Kenny was my boyhood hero. An unbelievable player, right up there with George Best as one of the greatest ever to grace our game. I’m amazed he hasn’t got a knighthood but I have a sneaky feeling he could well do in the New Year’s honours. Long overdue. I can’t wait to get this film on DVD on Monday!

    • Have pre ordered this film and can’t wait to see it. Saw Dalglish play several times, and met him briefly as a kid. He was a very special player the likes of whom you don’t see today. For skill and influence on a game only Luis Suarez comes close in a red shirt, or any shirt for that matter. I was gutted when FSG fired him in 2012 as felt he should have been given more time. A knighthood long overdue!
