That was a much tougher than it should have been. We started well in the 2nd half and drew a couple of big saves. The H-T result is a bit flattering – making the most of two free kicks, VAR Offside ruling out a goal and a good save 1v1 by Adrian is the difference at half time. The only Surprise is perhaps the midfield line-up with both Hendo and Milner picked to play alongside Fabinho. As usual though, Klopp rotates the midfield so its not that much of a surprise.
The Bench is lacking a Striker with Origi inured and thought Brewster may have made the bench but Klopp has opted for more attack minded Midfield options for the bench – that maybe because the more defensive hard-working midfielders are starting. Lovren comes in too and alongside Gomez offer extra defensive options if needed…Come on you REDS!!! YNWA
