yes he caught mertens after the ball but definitely a great tackle – no worse than Mee’s on Gomez that fractured his leg!

In a lot of ways, this was a predictable line-up. With the ‘need’ to score goals – at least 2 if we keep a clean sheet, I am a little surprised by the Midfield. You have to wonder whether Kieta or Shaqiri would provide and/or create more chances.
We do have creativity, drive and potential firepower on the bench with Shaq, Keita, Studge and Origi as well as defensive cover with Lovren and Fabinho too…
I just hope our home form, the Kop roar, the need to get goals and the team selection will be enough to see us qualify.

Full time – 4-0 – A hat-trick from Salah and an OG takes LFC to the top of the table – albeit for a few hours if Citeh don\’t lose at Chelski. A good display with Napoli coming up in a must-win fixture…

A surprise selection? Milner at RB with TAA on the bench. Robertson returns and Keita starts alongside Fabinho and Gini in midfield. Shaqiri, Salah and Firmino spearhead the attack.
Mane is on the bench which has an attacking look with Sturridge, Origi and Lallana, Hendo too. Only defender is TAA…

LFC come from a goal down to win 3-1 with goals from Milner, Firmino with his first touch and Shaqiri in injury time.
