Its annoying that they keep referring to this team as the ‘European/World Champions’ and runaway league leaders with half the team being our u23’s and the other half made up of injury returners, bench players etc – at least until the final 20mins when Klopp brought on Ox, then Salah and Firmino. Well we have been trying to give them a goal and now Larouci concedes a penalty which they score. VAR may have given that outside the box but its no less than they deserve. Adrian has been great and determined to keep a clean sheet despite the defence gifting chances…

And that\’s Half-time.
Not as plain sailing as it looked in the first 20mins as Liverpool dominated possession (85% with 150 passes vs 20) but some rustiness and sloppy play – not from the kids, and Adrian has had to make a big save and be quick off his line.
