Game over – 3pts and a 5-1 victory. No goal for Salah this time – just an Assist. Firmino (2) gave us a 3-0 lead after Can’s opener. Coutinho added to the score after Brighton’s Penalty gave them a lifeline and a deflection off of Coutinho’s curling effort rounded off the scoring.

After such a makeshift defence, LFC come away with a vital 3pts to keep pressure on the teams around us. A draw between the gooners and scum will leave us in 4th after 15 matches – 3pts off 3rd and 11pts off 1st (although they do have a game in hand). I know a gooners victory would probably be a ‘better’ result as that would keep us 3pts behind 2nd BUT also push us down to 5th.
