A vital 3pts!! Looks like we were going to throw away yet another 2pts but Lovren and Klaven (with VVD arriving…) combine to get the winner in Injury time. Not enough to take third on GD but does increase our gap over 5th to 6pts (although 5th/6th do have games in hand) but we can’t be lower than 4th. If Everton beat utd by 2 or more, we could go 3rd…
Next up, FA Cup ‘derby’ before a ‘long’ break (9days) and we face the league leaders – both matches at Anfield.
Not the best display but about time we won ‘ugly’ instead of dropping points when we out-played the opposition.
