2-0 at half time. Not exactly creating too many chances – took a long rang, deflected strike to give us the lead and Firmino giving the eyes to the keeper that made him think the ball was going to be pulled back but then slotted home.
The one thing that has been better is the passion and desire in midfield, working much harder to get the ball and Karius too looking solid so far – quick off his line and a good save at 0-0. Not as cohesive as we were seeing before Phil left, that spark is missing in midfield that also seemed to pull everyone else up. Can has put himself about too, driving forward and all in all, more passion.
