Well it was a good start as Salah capitalised and scored his 20th (yes 20th) League goal of the season inside the first 3mins. However since then, its been a bit more even and at times a feisty match. I don’t think the Ref has got to many decisions right in that he has let some things go that should have been free kicks (in the modern game) which has led to a bit more ‘aggression’ and physicality that in other games would be pulled up as fouls and/or yellow cards.
TAA has had a good game so far, lucky not to have been injured with one challenge (not even awarded a free kick) and then yellow carded for a similar challenge despite actually playing the ball.
Like I said its been a more even and with a bit more accuracy and luck, could have been further ahead but Karius has had to make a couple of saves too.
I hope LFC come out of the box with pace and work hard not to give spurs room or time to settle. I hope we play positively rather than try to settle for a 1-0 – obviously not at the expense of defending or pressing but to keep spurs on the back foot and stopping them from hitting us on the break or constantly under pressure ourselves.
