Team to play Chelsea: Karius, Clyne, Lovren, van Dijk, Robertson, Alexander-Arnold, Wijnaldum, Milner, Salah, Firmino, Mane
Subs: Mignolet, Klavan, Moreno, Henderson, Woodburn, Ings, Solanke
Interesting team selection. Both Clyne and TAA are starting with Hendo dropping to the bench. I did think Clyne may have started as TAA has played a lot of football and still young but didn’t expect this change. Wonder if we will go with a back 3 with Clyne, VVD and Lovren. Robertson and TAA as more wing-backs – a 3-4-3 alongside Milner and Gini in midfield.
Even with Spurs losing, we still need 3pts to keep 3rd. Chelski can reach 75pts and Spurs can get to 77pts. We can reach 78pts (and limit Chelski to 72pts and a win would guarantee at least 4th – even a draw would virtually guarantee 4th on GD as we would have to lose ‘big’ against Brighton and Chelsea to score ‘lots’ in their 2 remaining fixtures to overtake us but a Win would take the pressure off for the final game.
