Whilst securing CL football is a ‘successful’ season, we finished 25pts behind the leaders – and we beat them too. We really could have done so much better but 12 draws – the highest in the top 6 with only 5 losses really made the gap from the top so much more emphatic and why we still hadn’t claimed CL football until the final day. The final few weeks have appeared to see our threadbare squad tire in the 2nd half of games so we will need to improve our squad depth for next season – but never the less, we have CL football for next year and can still win the CL final this year…
