Liverpool got off to blistering start but failed to score. As the match progressed, Liverpool looked comfortable and looked like they could step up a gear but were pacing themselves, keeping the rare breaks from PSG contained. Sturridge got the opener from a great cross by Robertson and then Milner converted a Penalty after Gini was brought down. Liverpool looked to control the match, dropping down a gear to see out the half but a cross into Cavani (who was offside) who missed the ball, hit a flat footed Robertson and was tucked away to give PSG something to build on. Hopefully, LFC will find that top gear again in the second half and score a goal or 3 and come away with 3pts.
