Dominated Possession but only managed 2 shots on target – both headers – from 7 attempts. Southampton have had 4 shots and at times have a lot of space to attack. Liverpool do seem to be losing possession quite easy in the final third which gives the Saints an opportunity to attack on the break – although often they don’t have the numbers if the ball isn’t right. Too often though, our midfield and our wide defenders are sprinting back after a loose pass giving the saints the opportunity to break.
