A tough night as Liverpool try to overturn a 3-0 deficit against Barcelona at Anfield. The result at the Nou Camp flattered Barca and Liverpool had enough chances to have won that night so need to be ‘more clinical’. Its made tougher with the news that Salah (concussion) and Firmino is out too. Two of the best Strikers in the world out!!
Origi of course has scored a couple of winners – but I still think he is a liability if he is anywhere other than in and around the box – losing the ball, poor passing etc. Sturridge looked ‘dead’ on his feet in the last 30mins against Newcastle too and we left so many gaps for their midfield, particularly in the wings. Newcastles first for example showed our much space the wide players had.
I do wonder what Klopp may do if Leicester get a result. Pick a team with a big eye on getting a result against Wolves? Concede the Champions League.
