I can’t get excited for a player we won’t see in a Red shirt for ‘almost’ a year. A LOT could happen between now and then – He could get a serious injury for example…
I think its FAR more important we get Can to sign a long extension as he is proving to be developing incredibly well – especially under Klopp. If he continues to improve – just think how good he could ne in a few more years. When you consider his age and then look at people like Stewart (who we sold) who was ‘older’, even when you look at Hendo too, you really want to keep Can.
