Liverpool deserve to be in front on balance of play and chances. Spurs have defended deeply but Liverpool have carved out chances and hit the post too. The score could be higher with more accurate shooting but at the break, its Firmino’s goal that separates the two teams.
The one concern is a couple of yellows to Gomez and Ox and it looks like Moura in particular is looking for free kicks. Overall, not a bad half and its not been an ‘easy’ match as expected but certainly room to improve.
