No defenders in the box to prevent that header, no midfielders helping either…

Might be time to pull a few players off and keep them ‘fit’ for Wednesday. Robbed of a good game to watch, robbed of any competitiveness, motivation etc. We were well in the game, on top and a goal behind against the run of play. Situation that often sets up an interesting match for neutrals as well as fans. The nervous tension of the fans hoping to see their team either hold out against the onslaught or come back to get a point or 3. Now its ‘almost’ a formality for the team that was struggling but ahead. VERY POOR DECISION. I know the keeper got hurt but he had to go for it and ‘if’ he connected with ball, he could of been in for a goal.
I know he kicked him in the face but the keeper also ducked down a bit. If it happened in the middle of the park, he would have had yellow!
