Klopp has now managed Liverpool to lift EVERY Domestic Trophy!!!

Liverpool win 3-1 in the Community Shield. Its the Pre-Season opener that matters when you win, preparation for the season if you lose. But no-one ‘wants’ to lose and the match was ‘competitive’ and played like a Premier League match.

The first half started well and Liverpool, Salah in particular, looked sharp and strong, dominating the opening 20mins. They capped that off with a great goal by Trent, assisted by Salah but that seemed to kick City into gear. City got a scrappy equaliser after Liverpool were taking control of the second half. Nunez came on to good effect and it was his headed shot that was ‘handled’ to win the Penalty that Salah clinically dispatched. Liverpool looked the most likely to score again but City kept getting chances. However, it was the subs of Carvalho and Elliott, along with Salah, and Robertson combining to create a goal for Nunez. There was still a chance for Haaland to score but he smashed the top of the crossbar from 8yds out with the goal gaping….
