Great save in fairness though. Its better than missing the target or seeing a tame penalty easily saved. Firmino (Sevilla) was very unlucky to hit the post and Salah’s (Huddersfield) was tame.
A great save though has to be applauded even if its not great for us as LFC fans -

he scored but didn’t look deadly, like he could beat his man and looked like he would struggle to play 2 matches in a few days.
Maribor, if they give us as much space as last time, would probably have been good for Studge, but I think Firmino will do more to pressure their back 4 into mistakes.

Congratulations to Brewster and the England u17s.
Coming back from 2-0 down and after losing the Euro finals against Spain, England are the u17 World Cup WINNERS! Brewster is also the Golden Boot winner with 8 goals – inc 2 Hat-tricks (inc 1 against Brazil).

Coutinho, Mane and Lallana (for Sturridge and Milner and Gini. VVD would walk in ahead of Lovren/Klaven but Clyne may struggle with Gomez/TTA doing so well – I don’t think Clyne is the ‘best’ and whilst Moreno was often the ‘scapegoat’ Clynes stats were actually lower in almost every area. 3-0 and 3pts – back to a +ve GD too but really should have scored more. A 2/3-0 Half time score wouldn’t have flattered LFC. A result that moves us up to 6th in the table and hopefully sets us up for a big month ahead starting with Maribor at home on Weds 1st.

Its not ideal – I would have preferred Gomez to partner Matip and TTA come into RB. However it seems Huddersfield aren’t posing much of a threat – although if we don’t start converting our chances, we could be hit by a sucker punch…

Huddersfield have to thank their GK for keeping them level but LFC must also blame themselves for not converting their chances – A Penalty and then even the rebound missed…
Hopefully Klopp makes changes and/or the team find their scoring boots.
