A big night ahead as Liverpool take a 2-0 advantage to Porto for the right to play Barcelona in the Semi-Finals of the Champions League.
In the other half of the draw, Spurs have a 1-0 advantage as they travel to the Etihad for the right to play Ajax who knocked out Juventus at their home ground…

Commentary has just praised Hendo, especially in the second half. You have to say that Hendo has been excellent, showing the drive and passion that our former captain was known for. Goal-less at half time! Despite having over 60% possession – nearly double what the visitors could manage the number of chances, shots and even on target efforts are just about the same for both clubs. Only 1 on target each!

Full-time 2-0 – perhaps should have been a few more BUT the important factor was a clean sheet to take to Porto – no away goals conceded.
Not as big a win as it should have been but an away goal for Liverpool will leave Porto needing 4.
A good start to this two legged tie…

Living dangerously at the moment – a big save by Alisson, a Penalty appeal against TAA for a ‘handball’ (although was Ball to hand but they have been given with VAR used) and from the resulting corner, a big chance but doesn’t make a good contact and the ball is collected by Alisson….

Excellent cover there from Salah. Porto breaking from a Corner but Salah sprinting back, wins the ball as a Porto player gets into the box and then, as he brings the ball forward wins a foul…

A great pass from Milner to Mane who passes the ball into Firmino. Firmino plays the ball back to Keita and his first time shot gets a big deflection and ends up in the back of the net to give Liverpool the lead….
