There is a mistake here as Robertson is given a rest and Moreno is starting. Robertson can’t be on both the bench and LB!!
A couple of other changes as Lovren comes in to give Gomez a rest and Lallana starts in pace of Shaqiri. Fabinho gets another start too.
Matip and Milner also make the bench along with Sturridge to round out the bench.

4-0 – a comfortable win that could have been a lot higher and still wouldn’t have flattered Liverpool. They played better than they did against Huddersfield but still never seemed to go into top gear…
Liverpool go top of the group as Napoli and PSG drew in Paris…

Another Penalty – this time hand-ball – although more accidental as it comes off the head first…
Mane takes and its saved onto the bar and the follow-up was poor – justice though as both Penalties were probably not Penalties in the EPL.

Red Star will feel hard done by as the defender puts his arm out to hold off Mane and Mane makes the most of it. Arm was high but not as bad as Firmino being pulled back a few mins before in the box.
Not complaining myself but I would be annoyed if a Penalty was given against us for that…. -

GOAL!!! Firmino (20mins)
Liverpool get the opening goal and its Firmino who fires in from the middle after a pull back from Robertson. Only Gerrard has more European goals for LFC now and that goal means all 3 of our front 3 are now on 4 goals!

Mane is back after damaging his thumb on international duty and Firmino starts to give LFC their familiar front 3. Lovren drops to the bench as Gomez moves back to the centre and TAA starts. Fabinho and Shaqiri partner Gini in Midfield.
A strong bench with Milner, Lallana, Lovren and Sturridge with Moreno and Migs providing options too
