1-0 down at half-time. Finally got into the box at the end but we could easily be level at the moment. 45mins to hold on and holding on is what we have done so far. Our midfield in general have been dominated – Milner has been a defender most of this half and got a few good blocks in but you have to ask where our midfield is?

Quite an even first half although we did have more attempts and more on target too. Both keepers though have made a great save to keep the scores level. Hopefully we can get a goal or two to win this match and put pressure on the teams around us – even though we will have played more games.

I was still surprised at Klaven coming in and Moreno on the bench. Clyne makes some sense as a replacement to TAA but Moreno is the most like Robbo we have.
It looks more ‘defensive’ with these changes but hope its still good enough to give us 3pts…

We knew there would be changes coming between the CL game… However I was surprised with 3 CB’s starting. Clyne back too and Ings and Solanke both start too.
I did think Moreno would replace Robertson but the team seems more ‘defensive’. -

What a match – 3-0 in the first 30mins and a second half of resolute defending! TAA was Man of the Match in the second half – absolutely superb up against Sane. Don’t think we managed a shot on target in the second half – barely got out of our half and spent most of the time in and around our own box BUT managed to snuff out City and they didn’t…[Read more]
