Half time and the hosts have the lead. It came after Liverpool were adjusting to the loss of Keita (it seemed) and Suarez getting his first CL goal of the season. Mane and Salah have looked full of pace, Mane had the best chance to score too but was stretching a bit and couldn’t get his shot on target. Perhaps should have had a penalty too. Liverpool certainly look to have the beating of Barcelonas defence BUT they haven’t quite got the final balls right – misplacing the final pass, making the wrong pass, playing the ball behind the player…
1-0 isn’t a ‘bad’ result but Liverpool could get a goal or two but equally could have a mountain to climb as well. I don’t think Hendo has got into the game yet since coming on. Hopefully Klopp will sort out the team – its certainly bubbling up too…
