The score really flatters Liverpool and Norwich will be kicking themselves for the missed opportunities they had in the first 20-25mins.
An own goal early in looked to fire Norwich up after a good start but after the 3rd goal went in from a VVD header from a corner, Liverpool took control. Some ping pong in the box ended up with Firmino putting in Salah for the 2nd goal and a TAA’s cross finding Origi rounding off the scoring.
Alisson though went off after pulling a muscle? under no pressure which has given Adrian an early debut. Its not the only disappointing moment as Norwich had far too much space and time which better and more clinical sides could of taken more advantage but its the result and goals that count.
I know its not great to see a team get hammered on opening day and sides to take their foot off after scoring 4 in the first half but Liverpool need to be ruthless – Goal Difference could be important come May.
