Liverpool are the only EPL team now with a 100% record but still 35 games to go. After dominating for so much of the match, the result does flatter Arsenal more than LFC. Goals from Matip and 2 from Salah were enough to get the 3pts but the subs and probably being 3-0 up slowed the game. Up until then, it looked like they couldn’t keep up – and that’s with Auba, Pepe and Lacazette (from the bench).
Mo will take the MotM award but Firmino and Gini (both subbed) were everywhere, harassing and pressing with Fabinho a rock in front of Matip and VVD. Gini and Firmino were subbed and because of their performance, the amount of work they put into the game which is the best reason to be subbed.
Next up is an away trip to Burnley next Saturday evening – another full week to recover and prepare.
