Well there goes our ‘winning’ run – at least we got 1pt I guess but we really didn’t start playing until the 2nd half and still made some bad decisions and some poor crosses – a poor cross led to our equaliser but far too often they were overhit or straight to a defender.
VAR helped utd to a goal and the ref seemed 1-sided in the first half. Liverpool in the past have played much better and lost and they did keep going so there is that but really the big talking point again will be VAR and their decision not to correct a ‘clear and obvious’ mistake with the foul on Origi. In the Penalty area, it would be a Penalty and even Neville was adamant that the foul would rule out utd’s goal..
Next up an away trip to Genk which we really need to win after losing our first CL group match before Spurs come to Anfield next Sunday…
