2-0 at Half Time.

The difference has been mostly clinical finishing as Liverpool hadn’t really been the best team but found themselves 2-0 up after 13mins. The first followed a break after City claiming a Hand Ball as the ball bounced around – although a City player handballed it on to TAA but Liverpool broke and Fabinho drilled in a shot from 30yrds out. Another break saw Robinson whip a cross in and Salah heading home. It wasn’t until the last 10-15mins though that Liverpool started to really get more even control of the game and create a few more chances but at one point, City had 2x more shots but only 1 on target compared to Liverpools 2 on target from 3 shots.
Liverpool can play better and showed glimpses through out the half but also at times looked the most unsettled and nervous – even after being 2-0 up. Another 45mins to go…
