That was the last action of the half as Liverpool go in 4-2 ahead at the break. The scoreline really tells the story of Liverpool this half – superb going forward but defensively not strong. 6 shots on target and 6 goals. Defending seems zonal to me and not keeping with man. Not too much attempt at stopping balls coming into the box either. Attacking has been devastating – great passing, great finishing, great movement… Every 1 of the 4 goals have been quality from start to finish…
Another 45mins to go to keep our 8pt advantage and hopefully increase our Goal difference. I want to see better defensive play too and whilst Klopp will be happy with the forward play, he won’t be happy with the defending…
