I agree – I felt disappointed and more so when more was made of the Mane disallowed goal and even the penalty claim when VVD was clattered into late by the GK – of these two had been given (as discussed on Sky Sports Ref watch), we would have won 3-1. On balance of play, we weren’t the ‘best’ team on the day statistically but we know possession doesn’t automatically mean you should win so a point may well be fair but we really should have left the stadium with 3pts and (at least) 3 goals and not ended up in 3rd….
