How unlucky for Elliott – really deserves a goal and whilst the first time he hit the crossbar, he should of scored, this one deserved to hit the back of the net…

Are we trying to give this away… Some desperate defending, great blocks and saves, headers off the line etc…
Yet again, running out of steam? dropping deep to see out the game?? If anything, this does show we don’t seem to have a team that could compete if we had to rely on fringe/youth players.

Milners goal (with a lot of help from the GK) separates the sides at half time. The youngsters have done quite well and its the ‘experienced’ players (apart from Milner) who have been quite average.
