Great analysis, I wouldn’t be surprised if we win the league at Everton on 16 March, that’s where my money is going at the moment!

    • With the games City have before we play them – inc Leicester City and Man Utd away, they also play Chelsea away the week we play Palace, it could be possible to win the league at Everton IF we win every game before that.
      Come on you REDS!!! YNWA

Looking good but 20 games to go. Titles are never won at Christmas so let’s keep our feet on the ground until at least March!

Really tough draw, passionate fans and manager but we have the second leg at Anfield where can beat anyone. My priority is the League title this season

  • My worst nightmare keeping me awake at night is Brendan Rodgers pipping is to the title. Leicester are as relentless aw we are. Part of me thinks their squad is thinner, if 30 year old Vsrdy gets injured they are in trouble but not so sure. They don’t have the Champions League, Club World Cup, they can concentrate entirely on the title race. I a…[Read more]

    • As long as we keep doing our job, it shouldn’t matter. Boxing Day could be a big game but regardless of the results, there is still so much football to play that it doesn’t ‘matter’ either. 8pts is a big gap but that could be just 3 losses or 4 draws (our GD would suffer too).
We have a good squad and a break in Qatar could give us the boost we…[Read more]

  • What a great squad we have this year! Now Keita getting in on the scoring act! Bournemouth 0 Liverpool 2!

The Ox is becoming a real asset to us again, getting some goals!

    • His first in the League this season….
Its great that 16 of the 18 outfield players used by Klopp this season in the League have all scored a goal…

  • A bit nervous for this one, Palace away is definitely a bogey fixture for us and one of our front three missing is a bit of a worry. But keeping the faith and let\’s get three points! Come on you Reds!

Great win last night and great goals especially OX’s second but overall not a really convincing performance against inferior opposition. Definitely room for improvement

  • Great to see Alisson and Matip back, which will undoubtedly strengthen our defence but Salah is a big loss upfront. Hopefully, Origi can add to his Barcelona exploits! Come on you Reds!

PHEW! That was an extremely hard fought 3 points but sitting pretty 8 points clear!

  • It was seat of your pants time towards the end but we held on to get all three points and six wins on the bounce this season, what a start! Five points clear at the top and City know they have one hell of a fight on their hands this season!

Fair points, we will really see when fixtures pileup and injuries start to take their toll. Although we have survived losing arguably the best goalkeeper in the league. I think it will be a different matter if we lose Firmino or Mane also Salah. We didn\’t have them in preseason and it really showed. As soon as they returned we were back on track.

I thought we were very impressive, in deference and attack. I like the Van Dijk – Matip pairing and in front of them Fabinho is awesome. Front three unplayable. Klopp was right we didn’t need to strengthen in the summer

    • I still think we needed1-2 big signings. We will see when we are playing every 3/4 days as well as travelling over Europe and participating in the club world cup too…

We haven’t really played anyone yet – not anyone we weren’t expected to beat and only playing once a week. I am not saying that we were wrong not to invest in the squad with all…[Read more]

  • It was coming!

  • We need to convert all this dominance!

That\’s brilliant that Sky are providing highlight videos on YouTube for the 3 o\’clock kickoffs!

  • What a howler by Adrian despite his heroics in midweek! We are really going to miss Allison. Relieved to get 3 points on the road after our exertions in Istanbul. It was well and truly squeaky bum time at the end there!

    • Fortunately, Ings missed a sitter late on but Goal Difference may be important if we can keep up the challenge like we did last year. City have started well and the likes of Arsenal, Man Utd and Spurs have invested in bringing quality to their sides.
I know we have quality in our team too but I do think we should have invested too. Brewster may…[Read more]

What a night indeed! Tottenham’s constant diving made the match especially tense but a good referee stood firm. This makes up for the league but next year I want us to really go for the league. Not that I am saying we didn’t this year. One loss all season and we still lose out. Unbelievable. But for now the sun is shining and this victory mak…[Read more]

  • Sickens me to say it but for one night only on Wednesday night I am a massive Man Utd fan. I doubt they will do us a favour. That embarrassment of a club will probably be blown away by City but living in hope some points will be dropped!

Title winning football last night, no doubt about that!
