My worst nightmare keeping me awake at night is Brendan Rodgers pipping is to the title. Leicester are as relentless aw we are. Part of me thinks their squad is thinner, if 30 year old Vsrdy gets injured they are in trouble but not so sure. They don’t have the Champions League, Club World Cup, they can concentrate entirely on the title race. I am loving BR and Leicester doing well, just not this well!
As long as we keep doing our job, it shouldn’t matter. Boxing Day could be a big game but regardless of the results, there is still so much football to play that it doesn’t ‘matter’ either. 8pts is a big gap but that could be just 3 losses or 4 draws (our GD would suffer too).
We have a good squad and a break in Qatar could give us the boost we need to get the results we want/need to see us triumphant in May.
