What a howler by Adrian despite his heroics in midweek! We are really going to miss Allison. Relieved to get 3 points on the road after our exertions in Istanbul. It was well and truly squeaky bum time at the end there!

What a night indeed! Tottenham’s constant diving made the match especially tense but a good referee stood firm. This makes up for the league but next year I want us to really go for the league. Sickens me to say it but for one night only on Wednesday night I am a massive Man Utd fan. I doubt they will do us a favour. That embarrassment of a club will probably be blown away by City but living in hope some points will be dropped!

Slight advantage City now. Rock solid at the back most games but really lacking up front and in midfield. It’s not that we have lost any, just these draws maybe costing us the title. Nine games to go and among them Spurs and Chelsea, but the rest against so called lesser teams. We need to get our scoring boots on whoever we play.

Still top and our goal difference much improved. Looks like a two horse race now and my money is on the Reds!

I really hope so… There are still 10games to go and we haven’t exactly played well up front in quite a few games. City have a superior Goal Difference too and similar games as us to get through too.

Just came across this comment online: \”What a difference Wijnaldum has on the Liverpool team. When he was injured Liverpool lost the runners in behind the opposition defence and lost midfielders driving with the ball. Underrated!\” It is so true! I have always been a big Wijnaldum fan!

I can’t say I am a ‘big’ fan of Gini but I do think he is often overlooked and under-rated for the work he does. He doesn’t score enough for me to be a ‘big’ fan and in some ways he is ‘similar’ to Hendo in that he does a lot of work, doesn’t score enough for a midfielder and only gets recognition when they are ‘missed’. Palace are never an Easy team to beat – at least for us. They were the last team to beat us at Anfield in the league too. Its not as if we haven’t had chances but the loss of TAA and lack of pace of Milner has cost us here – still time and now back level so hopefully we can go on and win now…

Must say, things have changed for the better. Its now ours to lose – even if we don’t get all 3pts against Citeh. As long as we keep winning,, the result at Citeh won’t make any difference. Obviously a win will buy us more leeway but destiny is in our hands now…

Great to see off our bogey side! We are looking extremely solid so far! Palace are a good side and to go away and get 3 points in a hard fought game is a good sign

As I said in my comments, LFC were very sloppy but we need to win games when we aren’t playing ‘well’ as a team and to win ‘ugly’. It was great to see another clean sheet and its not surprising that VVD and Gomez got a lot of praise in this game as they kept Palace to very few chances.
