A number of changes for the cup with only Matip, Shaqiri and Mane starting from the team that started against Southampton.
A strong team never the less with a relatively strong bench – although Grabara, Solanke and Jones are not very experienced.

A 3-0 win with all 3 goals in the first half from an OG, Matip and Salah take Liverpool back to the top and maintain their 100% record. An injury to VVD after the break was the only real concern. Shaqiri was involved and probably Man of the Match for the 45mins he played but as he was substituted at half time, Salah deserved MotM overall.

Full time – 3-2 Liverpool get their CL campaign with a win and maintain their 100% record – almost threw away a couple of points after completely dominating PSG but a great finish from Firmino wins the match in injury time.
