We have been fluctuating between 3rd and 4th and Kane now has 2, making him 2 behind Salah but also making the score 5-4 and putting us in 4th. Come on Leicester, come on Salah get another goal too….

Lallana on for Mane – who had a knock and was a doubt. Not his best game to finish the season on but \’good enough\’.
A chance for Lallana now to impress before the world cup and the CL final??

Firmino should have been on the score sheet too – clean through but the keeper stood up well – In fairness, the keeper has done well overall…

Incidentally, Spurs are 3-1 down now at home to Leicester so it’s looking very much like LFC will finish 3rd – still over 30mins to go in both matches of course…
Also looks like Salah will get the Golden Boot – although not the European version as he needs at least 2/3 more and hope Messi doesn’t get anymore in his last 2 matches…-
Spurs are now 4-3 up 🙁 … May end safe in 4th as Chelski are 2-0 down – come on Leicester…

At the moment, with the scores as they are, Liverpool are third as Spurs are losing at home – even if they get a draw, we take third with a win!
I have lost count of the amount of Penalties we could have had too – at least 3 (handball, foul on Salah and a very high foot on Solanke) but at Half-time things are going well…

Wasting chances at the moment – but at least we are creating them – snatching at shots, being a bit selfish when its better to pass and vice versa but apart from that, we are really controlling the match overall but Brighton have had possession and corners so the potential is there to get something when the game should be over now…

Milner must be injured. He must be knackered with the shifts he has put in for us of late. Solanke is yet to convince me and I would have preferred to see Woodburn given a run out although I hope he comes on as a sub. I know we get another bite at the cherry on the 26th but it will be great to get this Champions League spot sorted today!

The big surprise is that Solanke starts and Milner isn’t involved – looks like Firmino may well be playing deeper to allow Solanke to play up front.
