Half-time – a quarter of the way through the Quarter Final and we have a 3-0 advantage – and it ‘could’ have been more. Masterson? I just looked him up, our U23s centre-back, what a game for him to be involved in! But does show with our injuries we are down to our bare bones. Sods law this is the case when such a big match comes along! Come on you Reds, we have nothing to fear, let’s take at least a two goal lead to the Etihad!

All I can is I hope Lovren has a ‘good’ game but with the pace City have with De Bruyne passing the ball, we need a very disciplined performance. I don’t think how midfield has the strength to deal with their’s IF we let them have time on the ball…

Salah seals a dramatic victory that sees the Reds up to second in the Premier League!

This hard fought victory sets us up nicely for Manchester City in the Champions League. It was a tough game and we had to dig deep but when you have Salah in your side you always have a chance!
