LIVERPOOL TEAM NEWS
Team to face Newcastle: Adrian, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mane, Origi, Salah.
Subs: Kellerher, Milner, Firmino, Gomez, Henderson, Lallana, Shaqiri
2 changes after the international break as Hendo and Firmino drop to the bench with Ox and Origi coming in. Milner, Gomez, Lallana and Shaq round off the bench.
1 eye on Napoli or maybe all the travelling and football played. Arguably, this could be a match where Liverpool can make a couple of changes but will Firmino be missed – not only for his work rate getting the ball back, not only for his vision to pick the right pass but also for his ability to hold onto the ball and give Liverpool an opportunity to push up too – a valuable link between the forwards and often the defence. We look more potent with him but lose so many opportunities to score without him…
