LIVERPOOL TEAM NEWS
Team to play Atletico Madrid: Adrian, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mane, Salah, Firmino
Subs: Lonergan, Fabinho, Milner, Minamino, Lallana, Origi, Matip
Robertson and Henderson return to the starting line-up as Fabinho and Milner drop to the bench as the only changes from the team that beat Bournemouth.
Its quite an attacking line-up with Ox starting instead of Fabinho (with Hendo and Gini – the expected and more defensive midfield) and Klopp has a Minamino, Lallana and Origi too on the bench with Matip the only ‘defender’ – although we know Milner and Fabinho can play in defence if needed.
Liverpool need at least 1 goal and would need 3 if Atletico get an away goal. They need to play a bit quicker than they did away and look to get in behind their defence.
