LIVERPOOL TEAM NEWS
Team to play Crystal Palace: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Mane
Subs: Adrian, Lovren, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Minamino, Origi, Jones, Elliott, Williams
A couple of changes from the Draw against our local rivals – some enforced. Robertson and Salah return to the starting line up too.
Robertson’s return is timely with Milner suffering a hamstring injury and Gomez comes in for Matip who suffered a toe injury. Gini and Salah come in for Keita and Minamino who both drop to the bench as the other changes.
That means Liverpool will start with their Front 3 that has got them into this position in the league.
The bench has a good mix of experience and youth. Jones gets a call up to join Elliott and Williams from the youth team. The bench looks like it has a lot of attacking Midfielders for options if needed…
Hopefully, we can get our first victory of the restart and set up a potential league winning clash with Man City in the next match…
