Klopp – “We were the Better Side”

So far this Season, apart from the Man City game which ‘changed’ after the sending off, I cannot think of a time when we were not the Better side. Even in the Man City game, we were playing them off the park – right up until that sending off.

Its no point being the better side if you cannot convert that domination, those countless chances into goals. Newcastle may have had a bit of luck, and on another day, Matip (who did exceptionally well to get back and make that ‘clean’ challenge in the box), would have cleared that or the ricochet off the shin would miss the target.
If our ‘luck’ was in, Gini should have scored, not hit the post, we would have had a Penalty as Dejan was pulled to the ground or maybe one of those ‘blocks’, ricochets etc in the box would have fallen to a LFC player.

It could be a self perpetuating issue. The pressure from so say having the best strike force in the EPL, the lack of ‘goals’ etc, making us ‘snatch’ at chances rather than having composure to hit the target or pick the right pass. The longer we struggle, the more pressure and lack of composure we see.

I still think one of these days, we will ‘hammer’ a team!! Just hope its our ‘next’ match!!!
