Don’t want to say Game Over as LFC have struggled to hold on to a lead and still haven’t scored a goal in the last 10mins.
You would think that Brighton are unlikely to mount a comeback – like Sevilla or Chelsea did but I am still not prepared to say game over ‘yet’

Liverpool are suddenly in complete control and it’s a fantastic counter-attacking goal from Jurgen Klopp’s side. Salah finds Coutinho on the left and his low cross is perfectly weighted for Firmino, who powers a first-time finish past the GK.

Robertson in, Milner too – no Moreno, no Matip, no Gomez… Klavan on the bench as our only ‘defensive’ option. Unsure who will partner Lovren –
Milner with TAA at RB and Robertson at LB??
Interesting selection – Grujic on the bench, Mane too. Also have 2 strikers on the bench and Ox but looking very bare at the back…

Credit goes to Mane too, who fights at the byline, lifts one to the back post for Salah, but the Egyptian has so much to do.
He controls his volley from the left of the box, 12 yards out, and he’s slammed it into the back of the net. What a goal, and he’s on fire!
