I wonder when Klopp will make changes. No doubt he will want to keep Coutinho, Mane, maybe Salah or Firmino ready for Chelsea at the weekend. Defensively we are limited to availability with injuries etc…

3-0 up as we kick off the 2nd half. If we don’t collapse, then we will definitely be qualifying as ‘champions’ of the group.
The big difference has been clinical finishing. Defensively we have not been ‘great’ but we have been more clinical with our chances.45mins to go – Come on you REDS!!! YNWA

Firmino, Coutinho and Mane seem on fire tonight. Salah has been quiet comparatively but what a front 4 to have… Sevillas defence seen unable to cope with the pace and/or strength of our players…

That’s Firmino’s 5th CL goal in 5 appearances for LFC – not inc the goal he got in the qualifying rounds.

Mane breaking free with a long ball over the top. The keeper saves but leaves an open net for Firmino to easily tap home.

2 goals from set pieces. Both from corners on the same side with a flick on and a back post runner to finish….
A great start but on balance of play, this could easily be 2-2. We haven’t exactly looked secure in defence. Both teams have had 3 attempts but Sevilla have only managed 1 on target compared to our 3 – the one that Karius pushed onto…[Read more]

What a save by Karius… Got a bit lucky with the rebound off the post but still made the save that pushed the ball onto the post. Then straight after that, Sevilla miss a great opportunity to equalise.
Cut open twice in the space of a minute – hope that’s a wake up call!!!

A win should see us through – especially as Maribor got a draw against Spartak. A draw could still see Spartak with an outside chance – although would need a ‘big’ result against us to overturn the goal difference – a 4-0 win would see us knocked out in 3rd (assuming Sevilla beat Maribor to top the group). Basically the team that beat Southampton – with the expected GK change and Gomez coming back in. Bench looks the same too with both Migs and TTA replacing Karius and Gomez.

A 3-0 win – takes back above Arsenal and leaves us in 5th – 3pts behind Chelsea in 2nd who we face next….
We would have to beat Chelsea by 3/4 goals though to overtake them on GD when we face them. Only 3pts separate 2nd from 7th nut Man City are running away with the league at the moment…

A good 3pts – could have been a bigger score line but also could have been closer too. At 3-1, they had a lot of possession and chances to get back in.
With the 5 above us playing tomorrow, points will be dropped. The worst we can go into the break is 6th and 12pts behind but we ‘could’ end up 4th if the mancs win big. -
