Another clean sheet and 3pts but that owes more to Alisson and Watford’s wastefulness in front of goal. A very quick breakaway from a Watford corner sees Mane feeding Salah down the left. Salah cuts inside on his right foot and curls the ball into the far side – Great goal!!

Klopp makes 3 changes from the Win at Salzburg as Robertson and Keita drop to the bench and Milner, Shaqiri and Gomez come in. Lovren misses out due to injury.
There is a place on the bench for 18yrs old RB, Neco Williams alongside Ox, Lallana and Origi.

As long as we keep doing our job, it shouldn’t matter. Boxing Day could be a big game but regardless of the results, there is still so much football to play that it doesn’t ‘matter’ either. 8pts is a big gap but that could be just 3 losses or 4 draws (our GD would suffer too).

The big surprise is Keita getting the nod in midfield although did play well against Bournemouth. He starts with Gini and Hendo in midfield. Lovren is fit to start as well.

Liverpool cruised to the final whistle and haven’t needed to hit top gear. Despite just cruising, Liverpool have dominated the match and give the impression they could easily have scored more if they wanted. Liverpool will have an 11pt lead – at least until LCFC’s match at Villa tomorrow.

16 of 18 outfield players used in the EPL have now scored for Liverpool – the team are taking responsibility! Interestingly, those players who have been mostly bench players have scored when starting in the most recent matches too – Ox, Origi, Shaq and now Keita too…
