Klopp opts to keep Lovren alongside VVD for this big clash. Fabinho is partnered by Hendo and Gini in Midfield which really doesn’t surprise and the rest of the team too is as expected.

Well its a win… Not very convincing and played mostly at a stroll. Wasted chances could of cost us and at times, some great play was ruined with a poor pass/shot or losing possession but a win was important and a win is what we have. Possibly the worst ‘home’ performance since Liverpool lost to Real Madrid 5yrs ago…

So cruising and wasting chances after taking the lead looked OK but Genk score from their first shot to go in level….
The goal is the between the posts and it seems we need shooting practice to at least make the keeper ‘work’ to keep the score down but far too often, with it appearing more difficult to miss the target, the ball ends up as a goal…[Read more] -

Robertson and Mane leave it [very] late to get 3pts. Liverpool dominated and should of won easily but they never stopped. Man City at one point had closed the gap to 3pts after coming from a goal down at home too but those 2 late goals keep the 6pt gap ahead of the top of the table clash next Sunday at Anfield.
