Yet again, the majority of the team was as predicted with the only surprises (if they are) coming in the Midfield 3.
Milner, the only player that started in Klopps first team – which was v’s Spurs, gets the nod alongside Hendo and Gini.

Well that was a hard fought 3pts in the end. Mane got the scoring underway with a great 1-2 with Firmino. A mistake by VVD nearly threw away 2pts but a converted penalty by Milner ended up deciding this match.
Liverpool will and have played better and come away losing. Salah is certainly struggling right now and its showing on the pitch as well.…[Read more]

The same back 5 and front 3 as per usual. Fabinho, Gini and Lallana are the starters in midfield – the area that Klopp has most options as ‘starters’.
Lovren and Moreno are named as defensive options from the Bench with Milner and Shaqiri options for midfield. Sturridge and Origi are on the bench too – probably more for resting 1 or 2 of our front…[Read more] -

Just to add a bit more information, Liverpool will be the Away team first in the QF and SF as well as be classified as the Away team for the Final.
I don’t know how others are feeling about this, but I am quite happy with the 2nd leg (assuming we get to the Semi’s) being at Anfield.
Not sure if being the ‘away’ side matters, looking at the other…[Read more] -

Spurs or Man City VS Ajax or JuventusIf we get through against Porto we play the winner of Utd/Barca. It was always going to be a tough road to the Final at this stage.

Spurs vs Man City
Barcelona vs Man UtdI think its a good draw for Liverpool but you can’t underestimate Porto. If LFC play to their capability, you would have to think they are favourites to reach the Semi Finals…
