A great breakaway goal from a Watford corner – Robertson breaks down the left and finds Mane in the box whose shot is excellently saved but falls to Firmino to nod home… 3-0 with injury time to play…

Joe Gomez misses out due to an Ankle injury according to Sky not that I had heard anything prior – inc Klopps press conference yesterday which seemed to indicate that everyone was fit (apart from long term injured like Ox) and in contention.

A bit of a surprise at CB with Gomez being replaced by Lovren and not making the bench. With PSG coming up, maybe that was sensible after the internationals.
Midfield is often an area that Klopp rotates and this is no exception as Hendo returns after injury alongside Gini and Shaq. The front 3 is the usual 3 of Mane, Firmino and Salah.

3pts, 2 goals and 1st in the league – for at least a couple of hours anyway. Not a bad performance but could have been a goal or two down before getting the opening. Could have scored more than 2 too but 3pts was important and Goal Difference may well be come may but for now, its better to keep adding the points…

18mins to go and LFC are still struggling to get shots in but actually starting to get their rhythm. Mane had a chance after the restart and Salah has hit the post but Red Star are defending as a unit and keeping their shape.
A goal may well open them up for a second or more but LFC need to get something soon…
